Sitting in front of the TV, blogging from the laptop, watching the NCAA Tournament. Life is good!!:)

First chance I`ve really had to relax this weekend -- R. and I did yardwork allllllll day yesterday. Mulch, cleaned up some leaves, cleaned out some flower beds, made two trips to Home Depot, etc., etc. Dinner last night with some friends to celebrate a birthday -- had a good time, laughed so much our jaws hurt!!!

More yardwork this morning, I mowed the backyard for the first time this season. R. went to do some shopping, including the purchase of our first robot...the iRobot Roomba, a robot vacuum. I had a chance to see it in action at CES in Vegas, and of all the cool tech toys I saw there, the Roomba was one of the coolest. Hopefully, it will work well and keep this house a little cleaner!!!

Oh, and speaking of cool tech toys: on the way to dinner last night, we saw a guy riding a Segway Human Transporter!!! Right here in our little cowtown of Birmingham, Alabama, some guy was riding a Segway down Highland Avenue!!! I was very tempted to stop and talk to him....

Must watch basketball now.
